There is a discount for early registration (cutoff June 30th), and a slightly reduced rate for half-year registrations (where registration occurs in January or later).

All registration is now done through the SCOUTS.CA website.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program 

Canadian Tire has a Jumpstart program to assist with the costs of various sport-related activities - Scouting qualifies for this. Applications for funding must be done by the Parent of the youth(s), not by the Scouting Group or Unit. Applications can be made between January 15th and November 1st and typically take 6 weeks for approval. Registration for Scouting cannot be completed until funding is received, so if you will require assistance, please start this application process early. Under ideal circumstances, applications made in January or February for the following year would be available in time for our early registration in June.

Scouts Canada No One Left Behind

The Scouts Canada No One Left Behind program can provide a portion of the costs for registration, uniforms, books and/or outings or camps. It is not designed to cover 100% of the costs.
