Fundraising

Fundraising is vital to Scouting. None of the money we pay to Scouts Canada is returned to the units; we need to find ways to find money for a variety of expenses, including:

- improvements and support for Camp Barnard
- unit supplies and equipment
- subsidizing camp costs

This year, we are also planning some fundraising activity with a specific goal - to upgrade the kitchen facilities at the Scout Hall.

Our fundraising activities for 2016/2017 include:

2016 October 1 Apple Day   (50% for Camp Barnard, 50% for our group)

2016 October 22 Pumpkin Sales at the Vancouver Island Corn Maze
